It's my first visit, what do I need to know?Welcome – we can’t wait to meet you! Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first class so we can give you a full tour of the space, get you familiar with the studio(s) you’ll be in, and make sure you’re all set to get your dance or sweat on! All you’ll need to bring is comfortable clothes, clean indoor shoes, and we encourage bringing a reusable water bottle, and we’ll do the rest!
-
Do you need a partner?Absolutely not! All of our classes do NOT require a partner. We have some skilled instructors there to guide and partner you, as well as classes that focus solely on solo work.
-
Do I have to book online in advance, or can I just show up?Booking online is recommended to ensure you secure a spot in class, but walk-ins are welcome, provided there are spots available in the class!
-
What if I'm late for class?Out of respect for your fellow classmates and instructors we have a 5 minute grace period, after which no late entry is allowed. We are firm with this policy because joining a class after the introduction disturbs the flow of the session. If you arrive late for your class, we would be happy to find a spot for you in the next class, if there are available spots. Your studio time is a gift to yourself – make time for you!

What's your cancelation Policy? At Beach Ballroom, we understand that life can be unpredictable and things may come up that prevent you from attending your scheduled dance class. If you need to cancel a class, we ask that you notify us at least 12 hours before the start of the class. This allows us to offer your spot to another student on our waiting list. If you cancel within 12 hours of the class start time or fail to show up for a class, you will forfeit your credit for that class. However, we do offer the option to make up missed classes by attending another class of the same level within the same session, subject to availability. Please note that for private lessons, we require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a $75 fee. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation policy, as it helps us to maintain the quality of our classes and ensure that all of our students have the opportunity to participate.

What do I need to bring for dance class? What do I need to bring for dance class? At Beach Ballroom, we strive to make your dance experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. To ensure that you have everything you need for your class, we suggest bringing the following items: 1. Comfortable clothing: Wear clothing that allows you to move freely and comfortably. We recommend athletic wear or dancewear. 2. Proper footwear: Depending on the type of dance class you are taking, you will need appropriate shoes. For example, ballet classes require ballet slippers or socks, while the remaining classes we recommend clean, comfortable, non-marking shoes like sneakers or small heels. Please note, if it's wet or damp outside we do ask people bring a clean indoor pair of shoes for classes. 3. Water bottle: It's important to stay hydrated during dance class, so we suggest bringing a reusable water bottle. 4. Positive attitude: The most important thing you can bring to dance class is a positive attitude! Come ready to learn, have fun, and make new friends.
